Swansea manager praises the patience of his squad players

Brendan Rodgers looks set to draft Luke Moore and Wayne Routledge into Swansea's starting line-up for their game this weekend. Moore opened his account for the season in his last outing against Blackburn while Routledge's dazzling wing play off the bench caught the eye. Joe Allen will miss the game against Fulham as he is serving a one-match ban, while Danny Graham, Stephen Dobbie and Kemy Agustien are pushing for places in the team on Saturday. "The players on the outside are contributing as we want them to so I have some options," Rodgers told the South Wales Evening Post.

Blackburn

"We would rather have Joe with us, of course, because you want your best players available as often as possible. "But the players who came on at Blackburn did terrific for us. I thought Wayne Routledge was outstanding when he came on. "You need your front players to create goals and score goals and, whenever Wayne has played in his favourite position, he has done that."

Rodgers added: "He was excellent last Saturday and he is really pushing to get in the side and Luke Moore has been an outstanding player for our squad this season. "He has not played as much as he would have liked because of the form of others and the structure of the team, but he has shown he is always ready. "His professionalism is great and he showed against Blackburn that he can be a threat for us."
