Brendan Rodgers is delighted to see Nathan Dyer back from suspension but admits he may have to start back on the bench.

Routledge may keep returning Swans winger on the bench

Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers is delighted to see Nathan Dyer back from suspension but admits he may have to start back on the bench. The winger is available for selection for Sunday's trip to Tottenham after completing his three-match ban following his controversial red card at Wigan. But such has been the form of Wayne Routledge in his absence, Rodgers now has a tough decision to make ahead of the White Hart Lane clash, which is being shown live on Sky Sports 1HD. The Swansea boss told the South Wales Evening Post: "It's brilliant to see Nathan back. "He was unfortunate to lose his place the way he did, but he is a terrific player for us.

Very dynamic

"He is very dynamic, he puts defenders on the back foot and he brings that excitement and creativity we like. "Whether he comes straight back in or not is one of those decisions you have to make as manager." He added: "Nathan might have to wait for a chance on the bench. "The team have been fantastic if you look at March as a whole. "Of course the Everton result (2-0 loss) was disappointing, but we took nine points from 12 overall. "That is a fantastic return and Wayne has played a great role in that."
