The Swans were held to a 1-1 draw by Crystal Palace on Sunday, just three days after featuring in a Europa League tie against Napoli in Italy.
Garry Monk's players looked lively against the Eagles in the first half at the Liberty Stadium and took the lead through Jonathan de Guzman, but Pablo Hernandez, Ashley Williams and Wilfried Bony failed to finish the game due to injuries and tiredness.
Chico Flores' dismissal nine minutes from time gave Palace the initiative to equalise and pick up a point, leaving the Swans five points above the relegation zone.
Davies believes that fatigue played a role in Swansea's second-half display against Tony Pulis' side, but concedes that he and his team-mates cannot give the same reason if they fail to beat West Brom at home in their next game.
"With the injuries players are picking up, they were more down to tiredness than anything else," the South Wales Evening Post quotes the 20-year-old as saying.
"We had to fight it out for the last 10 minutes against Crystal Palace.
"It was disappointing that we lost Chico. We've heard now that the penalty was outside the box as well, but things go against you sometimes in football, you've just got to deal with it and we worked hard to get the point in the end.
"This will be a good chance for us to recover properly and there will be no excuses when the Premier League starts back.
"We're all a bit disappointed the Europa League has ended, but on the other hand it does give us that chance to concentrate fully on the league so we can look at it both ways.
"There are less games and they're all in the league, so we have to concentrate on them."
