Cumbrians in talks with Sonner

The 31-year-old had his expiring contract paid up by the Bescot Stadium club in April, as The Saddlers looked to reduce their wage bill.
The Northern Ireland international started talks with Collins on Friday, as The Cumbrians manager looks to add another midfield player to his Brunton Park squad, after Jon McCarthy refused a new deal to stay with Carlisle.
"We are looking for another midfield player and Danny Sonner is a very experienced midfielder," Collins told the News & Star.
Carlisle are keen to turn their fortunes around and challenge for promotion in Division Three next season, after surviving another relegation scrap at the foot of the Football League table this term.
