Carlisle have signed midfielder Jason Kennedy on loan from Bradford until the end of the season.

The 28-year-old, who has found it difficult to break into Bradford boss Phil Parkinson's starting line-up this season, is expected to make his debut for Carlisle at York on Saturday. Kennedy joined Bradford on a free transfer from Rochdale in July 2013 and has scored twice in 22 starts for Parkinson's side this season, but has started only one game since the turn of the year. Kennedy, out of contract at the end of the season, began his career at Middlesbrough and after a season at Darlington joined Rochdale in the summer of 2009. He has had previous loan spells at Boston, Bury and Livingston.
