Tranmere Rovers striker Chris Dagnall has suffered a cheekbone fracture.Tranmere Rovers have been dealt a blow with the news that striker Chris Dagnall has fractured a cheekbone.
The teenage hit-man suffered the depressed fracture in a collision with team-mate Ian Goodison during the club's 1-0 win over Brentford on Saturday.
The facial injury means Dagnall will be sidelined for up to six weeks, thus leaving Prenton Park boss Brian Little short of options in attack.
Tranmere face fellow League One club Port Vale in the Northern Section second round of the LDV Vans Trophy and the former Leicester City and Aston Villa manager is sure to make changes for the midweek contest.
