Ward makes Chester move

Goalkeeper Gavin Ward has joined Chester as a player-coach.Goalkeeper Gavin Ward has joined Chester as a player-coach.
The 37-year-old was released by Tranmere at the end of last season after just 12 months at Prenton Park.
He has now agreed to take a dual role at Chester and has signed a two-year deal.
Ward will compete with Jon Danby and Phil Palethorpe for a place in Bobby Williamson's side.
Since beginning his career as a junior at Aston Villa in 1987, Ward has spent time at 13 clubs including Leicester, Bolton and Stoke.
