Leeds United will allow out-of-favour midfielder Andy Robinson to leave the club on a free transfer this summer.
Robinson joined the Whites from Swansea in 2008 and was a regular in his debut campaign under former manager Gary McAllister.
However, the 30-year-old fell out of favour under Simon Grayson and finished the end of this season on loan with Tranmere.
Robinson was one of four players Leeds recently told to find new clubs for next season and his agent Neil Sang has revealed he can leave for free.
Although Robinson has one year left on his Elland Road deal, Sang insists Leeds' decision to let Robinson leave is not a shock.
"It's no real surprise to Andy. He hasn't been playing under Simon in League One so there wasn't much chance of him playing under Simon in the Championship," Sang told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
"The club told me they won't be looking for a fee so over the next couple of weeks I'll be hammering away, looking for options for Andy.
"I've always thought of him as a player with massive amounts of talent and it's unfortunate that it hasn't worked out for him at Leeds. But it's only business, nothing personal."
