Break is welcome - Parry

Tranmere's enforced break from action this weekend appears to have come at the right time for injured striker Enoch Showunmi.

Rovers are without a match on FA Cup second-round day after they fell at the first hurdle against Cheltenham. That means Showunmi can enjoy extra recuperation time from an ankle injury and boss Les Parry is optimistic he will be in contention for the visit of MK Dons on December 10. "Enoch Showunmi's ankle is improving," he told Tranmere Player. "Hopefully he may be in the reckoning for next week, which would be a massive boost for us." The forecast is less positive for full-back Zoumana Bakayogo, whose knee problem is set to keep him on the sidelines. "Zoom is going to be out for another three weeks," Parry added. "He's still quite sore."
