Doncaster are still waiting to discover the extent of the ankle injury James Coppinger sustained against Chesterfield at the weekend.
Initial scans suggested there could be ligament damage, hinting at a lengthy lay-off for the veteran midfielder. However, Coppinger is hopeful the problem is not that severe and he has sought a second opinion. The 34-year-old, in his 11th season with Rovers, is set to announce plans for his testimonial match.
