Doncaster have wrapped up their first summer signing in goalkeeper Thorsten Stuckmann from Preston.

Stuckmann joins Rovers on a two-year deal, having turned down the offer of fresh terms from North End at the end of the season. The deal is still subject to clearance from the Football League and the Football Association, while the German boasts 77 appearances for North End, including against Manchester United in the FA Cup. Stuckmann, North End's player of the year in 2012, has previously turned out for Alemannia Aachen, Eintracht Braunschweig and SC Preussen Munster. He was an unused substitute as North End secured their promotion to the Championship at Wembley last month.
