Ian Holloway's predictions: Wins for Blackpool, MK Dons and Bury

Ian Holloway is back with his Sky Bet EFL predictions

The Sky Bet EFL is back for another weekend of action and Ian Holloway supplies us with his League One and League Two predictions.

Peterborough v Bury - Saturday, 12.00pm, Sky Sports 1 HD

David Flitcroft has got everyone going at Bury - they look to be having a real go and have big plans in place for the future. Taking 20 points from their first 11 games is a fine achievement. Peterborough is a notoriously tough place to go but with James Vaughan banging them in, I'm siding with the away win.

Every time he played against me, he scored. I tried to sign him countless times, but never got him. He's a fantastic lad with a great attitude. If it wasn't for injuries he would be playing a lot higher.

OLLIE PREDICTS: 1-2 (Sky Bet odds 17/2)

Oxford v AFC Wimbledon, League One, Sunday 12.15pm, Sky Sports 1 HD

I'm in Sky Studios for back-to-back games on Sunday. I can't wait. I watched both these teams a few times last season and it's great to see them competing so well after promotion. The story of AFC Wimbledon makes you fall in love with football all over again. In Lyle Taylor they have a natural born goalscorer who could fire them up the table single handily this season.

However, Oxford are unbeaten at home this season and sitting on the fence looks the call.

OLLIE PREDICTS: 1-1 (Sky Bet odds 5/1)

MK Dons v Port Vale, League One, Sunday 2.15pm, Sky Sports 1 HD

MK Dons are finally getting to grips with life back in League One, losing just one of their last five matches. Most teams suffer that kind of loss of form straight after a relegation. It rocks you: where are we going? What are we doing? But Karl Robinson is a fantastic manager and credit to the club for keeping calm despite going down. If they keep hold of their team and their manager, they'll be close to bouncing straight back up.

OLLIE PREDICTS: 2-1 (Sky Bet odds 13/2)

Live EFL

Bradford v Shrewsbury, League One, Saturday, 3pm

It's hardly ideal preparation for Shrewsbury, losing their manager Micky Mellon. The players will be all over the place, feeling rudderless.

Stuart McCall is like a ginger stick of rock with Bradford flowing through him. He's doing a brilliant job and the fans must be loving their current run. Home win.

Swindon v Bolton, League One, Saturday, 3pm

Bolton are having a nightmare! After such a great start, they are now seven league games without a win - I can't believe it. They're down to eighth in the table. However, Swindon have lost their last three home games and won't exactly be brimming with confidence.

OLLIE PREDICTS: 1-1 (Sky Bet odds 15/2)

Stevenage v Plymouth, League Two, Saturday, 3pm

Highlights of Plymouth's 4-1 win over Yeovil from Sky Bet League Two.

Plymouth are on a roll: go on the boys! I tipped them at the start of the season to go up and they've not let me down. They look like a team that have learnt a lot from last season. To take 25 points from 11 games is immense. They are already the team to catch. Graham Carey got marked out of the play-off final last season against AFC Wimbledon but he's started the season with real momentum. He's the best player in League Two and can open the scoring in an away win.

OLLIE PREDICTS: 0-2 (Sky Bet odds 8/1)

Leyton Orient v Portsmouth, League Two, Saturday, 3pm

Alberto Cavasin has been appointed as Leyton Orient manager

If Carey's the best player in League Two, Gary Roberts isn't far behind him. He's a beautiful footballer. Portsmouth are on a roll, as is Roberts, who has scored six goals already this term. Leyton Orient have just brought in Alberto Cavasin to replace Andy Hessenthaler and he's not going to know his players from Adam. This is a great time for Pompey to go there.

OLLIE PREDICTS: 1-2 (Sky Bet odds 15/2)

Blackpool v Cambridge, League Two, Saturday, 3pm

I'm wearing my Tangerine socks and pants today, so there's only going to be one prediction here. Home win.

Gary Bowyer is a Tangerine dream. He'll get the club moving in the right direction, starting this weekend.

Sheffield Wednesday are bidding to become the first sixth-placed team to win the Championship play-off final since Blackpool in 2010
