Millwall defender Darren Ward has signed a new contract with the club.
The former Watford centre back played in the FA Cup final for The Lions, impressing despite the threat posed by the likes of Manchester United's key duo Ruud van Nistelrooy and Cristiano Ronaldo during the 3-0 defeat.
"I've enjoyed my time here and I am pleased to be staying," he told Millwall's official website.
The fresh terms will run for another three years and will ensure the 25-year-old continues to ply his trade at The Den.
Ward will rack up 100 league appearances for the club when the newly-named Coca-Cola Championship kicks off on August 7.
