Millwall have rejected the chance to sign Le Havre striker Jonathan Jager.
Millwall have rejected the chance to sign Le Havre striker Jonathan Jager during the January transfer window.
Despite scoring two goals in Millwall's reserves, Jager has reportedly failed to impress Lions caretaker manager David Tuttle during his trial at The Den.
The Frenchman had opened negotiations over a possible move to the Championship side, but those talks now look to have fallen through.
Reports in France suggest the former Metz hit-man will now try his luck in Belgium, with Jupiler League outfit Excelsior Mouscron seemingly interested in having a closer look at the 27-year-old.
Jager has become surplus to requirements with Le Havre, having made just five appearances for the French Ligue 2 club.
