Millwall have cancelled the contract of midfielder Lloyd Dyer, at the request of the player.
Dyer joined the club from West Bromwich Albion in January but personal reasons have forced the 23-year-old to leave The Den after just two starts.
"Lloyd came to see me and told me he wanted to leave the club for family motives," said manager David Tuttle on the club's official website.
"It's disappointing but, if a player is unsettled for personal reasons, there is no point insisting that he stays."
