Swansea City have confirmed striker Jermaine Easter has joined the club on loan from MK Dons until the end of January.
The 28-year-old Wales international has moved to the Liberty Stadium on a short-term deal, as revealed by skysports.com earlier on Thursday evening.
Easter has not been firing on all cylinders for the Dons this season but now has the chance to prove himself at a higher level in the Championship.
The Cardiff-born forward told Swansea's official website: "I'm delighted to be here.
"My contract at MK Dons ends at the end of the season and I've made it clear that I want to play Championship football and have international aspirations. So the opportunity to come here was perfect for me."
Easter has been absent with a thigh injury of late but could start training with his new team-mates next week.
Dons boss Karl Robinson admits he is disappointed to lose the experienced frontman and expects a number of clubs to be sniffing around Easter after his loan.
He added: "We're disappointed to lose him. If he does well at that level then I'm sure there will be a number of clubs interested in signing him in January.
"If he comes back then he'll do so knowing we gave him every opportunity to fulfil his ambition of playing Championship football."
