Easter eyes Swansea switch

Swansea loan striker Jermaine Easter is hoping to return to action this weekend in order to help boost his chances of landing a permanent deal.

Easter is on loan from League One outfit MK Dons until the end of January but is keen to impress Swans boss Brendan Rodgers to seal a permanent Liberty Stadium switch. "I hope to be fit for Ipswich. I'm going to get on with some rehab and that will hopefully put me in the frame for selection," Easter told the Evening Post. "I'm here to make it permanent. I've been badgering my agent to speak to Brendan for a while now. "It's a massive opportunity for me. When I was at my most prolific last season at MK Dons it was a very similar system. "The lads play some great stuff and hopefully I will be finishing off the good opportunities they create."
