Marksman settled at Selhurst Park

Jermaine Easter admits he is relishing the opportunity at Crystal Palace as he bids to keep Dougie Freedman's side in the Championship. The Wales international striker signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Eagles after MK Dons accepted a bid in January. Easter was in the midst of a loan-spell at promotion-challengers Swansea when Palace expressed an interest in the 29-year-old. Easter is now plying his trade at the other end of England's second tier but claims he is settling in well at Selhurst Park after being afforded the comfort of a long-term deal. "I have not been there long but I am enjoying being back in the Championship," he said. "My spell at Swansea went well but Palace made an offer before the loan was up and MK Dons accepted it. "It's a reasonably long-term deal. I have just relocated and my wife is moving down with me in a few weeks. I feel I am settling in well."
