Championship: Millwall manager Ian Holloway happy with squad ahead of new season

Millwall manager Ian Holloway says he is not looking to make any further additions to his squad this summer.

Holloway has brought in six new faces to the Den, signing Ricardo Fuller, Matthew Briggs, Magaye Gueye, Carlos Edwards, Byron Webster and Lee Gregory.

Five of Holloway's six signings have been on Bosman free transfers, with only 25-year-old forward Gregory signing for an undisclosed fee from non-league Halifax Town.

The Millwall boss still has room in his budget for more but insists he is happy as things stand.

"I've got a fair few in but if things happen and we're not getting where we want to then I've got room in my budget to bring some people in if I need to – but I don't want to at the moment," he told Sky Sports News.

"We've set ourselves targets and we want to be up completely the other end of table, fighting for promotion, that's where we're setting our sights.

"Whether it's realistic or not I don't know, but it's not a matter of 'if' it will happen for us but more how long that will take."

Millwall face a tough home fixture with Leeds United in their first Championship game of the season this Saturday.

The Championship kicks-off on Friday night with Blackburn taking on Cardiff City live on Sky Sports 1HD from 7.30pm.
