Bury striker Ryan Lowe has rejoined Crewe on loan until January 5.
The 37-year-old was previously with the Alex for two seasons between the summers of 2006 and 2008, scoring 17 goals in 74 appearances.
Lowe netted 11 times for Bury in 2014-15 but his first-team opportunities have been restricted this term by a calf injury and the form of his fellow Shakers forwards.
He returns to Crewe with the club bottom of the Sky Bet League 1 table and having managed to score a total of only 15 goals so far in the campaign - the joint-lowest in the division.
Lowe is available for the Railwaymen's game at Colchester on Tuesday night.
