26-year-old Jones, who scored his first international goal on Tuesday evening with the Northern Ireland 'B' squad, has put pen-to-paper on a new three-year deal with The Alex.
The former Leigh RMI man formed a formidable partnership when paired with Rob Hulse at Gresty Road and, with fellow striker Rodney Jack in talks with Division Three champions Rushden & Diamonds, Jones will be even more essential to manager Dario Gradi's Division One plans next season.
"I am absolutely delighted to have signed for another three years," Jones told the club's official website.
"It is something I've wanted because I want to stay at Crewe and improve as a player.
"In this day and age in football, the contract was everything I wanted, and now I just want to get back in for pre-season training and continue to score goals for the club, this time in the First Division."
Jones is joined by 30-year-old Sorvel, who signed a new two-year contract extension at Gresty Road, after Gradi gave him a deadline of Wednesday to agree to the new offer.
"I'm very happy to be staying at Crewe Alexandra and looking forward to next season," said Sorvel, who had looked to be on his way out of the club.
