Crewe youngsters Shaun Miller and Tom Pope are due to sign new contracts.
Crewe Alexandra youngsters Shaun Miller and Tom Pope are due to sign new contracts at Gresty Road.
The strikers have broken into the first-team picture in recent weeks, with Miller scoring on both his League One starts.
Pope, who joined the club from non-league Biddulph Vics, has yet to open his account in three substitute appearances.
The duo have impressed Crewe boss Dario Gradi, who is expecting Miller and Pope to finalise two-year deals in the coming days.
"Tom and Shaun are two players we expect to re-sign this week," Gradi told the club's official website.
"We are offering them two-year deals because we have been pleased with their progress and they deserve it.
"We have been very pleased with Shaun. He was one of the younger ones we always expected to come through in the end.
"Tom has improved considerably. He has only got better with the experience and although he hasn't had a chance to start a game as yet, I'm hoping we can do that before the end of the season."
