Midfielder Ashley Westwood has signed a new contract with Crewe which will keep him at the club until 2014.
The 20-year-old, who came up through the club's academy system, follows in the footsteps of Matt Tootle, Luke Murphy and AJ Leitch-Smith by penning new terms at Gresty Road. Westwood has made 62 appearances for the Alex, even captaining the side on occasions, and has been an ever present during the current campaign, scoring five goals in 19 games.
