Crewe have taken Fulham striker Lauri Dalla Valle on trial for a few days with a view to loaning the Finn from the Cottagers.
The 21-year-old has spent two loan spells in League One recently with Bournemouth and Exeter, as well as a stint in Scotland with Dundee United. With Max Clayton ruled out for up to a month, Alex boss Steve Davis has moved quickly to bolster his attacking options. Dalla Valle scored two goals in five starts for Bournemouth in 2010/11 but spent a less successful five-game spell at Exeter last season.
