Martin Foyle has asked for patience as he looks to extend Ritchie Humphreys' loan spell.
Port Vale boss Martin Foyle has urged the club's supporters to be patient as he looks to extend Ritchie Humphreys' loan spell at the club.
The Hartlepool midfielder has spent the past month at Vale Park but he is all set to return to his parent club after Sunday's visit of Rotherham.
While Vale fans are eager for Humphreys to be snapped up on a more permanent basis, Foyle believes the relatively uncongested fixture list in the next few weeks has bought him time.
"There is no hurry, I have spoken to Danny (Wilson, Hartlepool manager) and it is just a case of dotting the Is and crossing the Ts," said Foyle.
"His deal expires at the weekend, but we have got all week after that, there are no problems.
"There is no midweek game, which means we don't have to worry about rushing things through."
