Notts County defender Liam Chilvers has joined Port Vale on a month's loan after findng it difficult to break into Martin Allen's squad.
The Magpies manager told the club's official website: "Liam has gone to get some games. "He was superb against Juventus in Italy a couple of weeks ago and has trained hard and worked hard. He deserves a break to get out and get some matches." Meanwhile, youngsters Liam Mitchell and George Nicholas have joined non-league Lewes on a month's loan.
