Preston have confirmed that they will appeal against the red card shown to Neil Kilkenny on Tuesday night.

The League One side say they will also appeal if the red card is switched to Joe Garner, who went on to score both of their goals at Vale Park.
Kilkenny was sent off for a 13th-minute off-the-ball foul on Anthony Griffith but it appeared that Garner was the player responsible.
Kilkenny vociferously protested his innocence, as did the Preston bench, before the game continued, with Garner scoring a goal in each half to lift North End up to third in the table.
A Preston statement read: "The club intend to appeal the sending-off on the grounds of mistaken identity, following an incident which occurred in the 13th minute of the 2-0 win over the Valiants.
"In addition, North End will look to appeal the subsequent expected red card which could be given to Joe Garner, on the grounds of wrongful dismissal.
"Preston North End will submit video evidence and statements to the Football Association by the 1pm deadline on Thursday, with the case expected to be heard later on that afternoon.
"No further comment will be made by the club until the result of the hearing is known."
