Port Vale have completed the signing of former Crewe winger Byron Moore on a free transfer.

Moore, who came through the youth ranks at Alex, turned down the offer of a new deal at Gresty Road. He made 262 appearances for the Cheshire club. Vale manager Micky Adams has revealed his excitement at landing his latest summer target. Speaking to the club's official website, Adams said :"I'm excited to announce the signing of Byron, I've been admiring him from a distance at Crewe for many years and can't wait for him to play under me. "He is a tricky winger with bags of pace and will be a great addition to the squad. "He had a number of clubs after him, so it's brilliant that we managed to capture him."
