The full back is on loan from Premiership outfit Birmingham City and has impressed with his displays for The Cobblers this term.
The new extension will take the player's stay at Sixfields until November 9 when Northampton face QPR.
"Jerry is happy to be here playing and I am delighted to have him here," coach Kevan Broadhurst told the club website.
