The 21-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a new two-year deal with The Terriers after being in talks with the West Yorkshire club in recent weeks.
The stopper has battled back from injury to become a key member of Peter Jackson's squad and the Huddersfield boss was pleased to have the youngster commit his future at The Galpharm Stadium.
"Nathan is rated very highly in football and it's fantastic that he's agreed to sign for this season and two more," Jackson told the club's official website.
"He is a quality young player and it's no surprise that some big clubs have been watching our games, but Nathan is committed to helping the club where he's grown up gain further successes and that's great."
