Brighton & Hove Albion have signed striker Jake Robinson to a contract extension.Brighton & Hove Albion have signed striker Jake Robinson to a three-year contract extension.
The 18-year-old had initially signed a three-year deal with The Seagulls back in December 2003, with the contract being the teenager's first professional deal.
His progress under manager Mark McGhee has seen the Championship side opt to hand the player a further three years to his existing deal.
The news comes as the South Coast club were handed a further boost by the return to fitness of goalkeeper Michel Kuipers.
The Dutch custodian will play his first game for nearly nine months when Brighton reserves meet their counterparts from Luton Town on Tuesday evening.
Kuipers returns after recovering from a serious shoulder injury he sustained back in January.
