Joel Lynch and Dean Cox have pledged their futures to Brighton by signing new deals at The Withdean Stadium.
Midfielder Cox and defender Lynch have made real progress in the last couple of years, having risen through the ranks at The Withdean, and have been rewarded with new contracts.
Lynch is contracted to the club until the summer of 2010, while Cox has signed a commitment until 2009 and Seagulls manager Dean Wilkins is thrilled to have handed the pair new deals.
"We are extremely pleased to have secured the long-term futures of two of our quality young prospects," Wilkins told the club's website.
"I hope this gives all the young players the inspiration to get into the first team and secure their own long-term futures."
Lynch has lost his place in recent weeks, but is looking to use the deal as a springboard to launch from.
"It gives me the confidence to get back into the team and become a regular again. I am now looking forward to playing for the club at Falmer!" said the 19-year-old.
Cox added: "I am happy to be in the team, scoring a few goals and setting a few up and I am delighted to be offered a new deal so early in the season.
"I have been an Albion fan since I was young, now I want to keep going, keep scoring and keep signing contracts."
