Winger making progress in recovery from hamstring injury

Brighton & Hove Albion are hoping forward Will Buckley will be fit for the club's next Championship game at home to Hull City. Buckley has been sidelined since suffering a recurrence of a hamstring injury during the Carling Cup defeat by Liverpool last month. The Seagulls are taking a cautious approach with his recovery, but manager Gus Poyet expects Buckley to be available to face Hull on Saturday 15th October. "It's normally 21 days for the type of injury he has, so he should be fit," Poyet told The Argus. "But, because it happened in the same muscle, the medical staff will take it a little bit slower than last time." Buckley became Brighton's record signing when joining in a £1million deal from Watford in July before that landmark was overtaken by the capture of fellow forward Craig Mackail-Smith from Peterborough United.
