Bournemouth said to have agreed a fee with Brighton for striker

Brighton striker Will Hoskins will be disappointed if reports a fee has been agreed for his sale to Bournemouth are correct. The former Bristol Rovers player only moved to The Amex last summer, but has struggled to make an impact after a succession of injury problems. League One Bournemouth have been long-term admirers and in the past tried to sign Hoskins on loan. But Hoskins, who last featured for Brighton as a starter in the 1-1 FA Cup draw with Wrexham, does not want to leave and was focused on regaining some form.

Injuries

He said on his Twitter account: "Just got in from training reading all my tweets. Shocked as u all are. Football is a mad game. "I have only just got back from my injuries and looking to bang some goals in. Would be disappointed if it is true." (Sic) Hoskins, who has played just eight times this season and has not scored since the game at Cardiff in August, later clarified he would not be directly upset at Bournemouth. He said: "My comment about being disappointed was not aimed at the club #afcb but about a fee being agreed as only joined #bhafc in the summer. "Quite a lot to take in at the moment. This has all been sprung on me. Not gonna comment anymore though as u possibly know more than me lol." (Sic)
