Brighton centre-back Matthew Upson believes recent poor results can act as a catalyst in their playoff charge.

The Seagulls' hopes of a top-six finish in the Sky Bet Championship have gone slightly awry of late, following back-to-back 1-1 draws at Huddersfield and, most disappointingly, at home to embattled Blackpool.
Those results leave Oscar Garcia's seventh in the standings and a point off Reading, although they can move back into the playoff spots with victory in their final home match of the season on Friday.
League One-bound Yeovil are the visitors in the season's penultimate match and former England international Upson hopes his team-mates can get back on track.
"Disappointment is certainly an emotion we are feeling after the Blackpool game, but we've got to be careful we don't get too disappointed," he told the club's official website.
"We are still in a great position and it is still all to play for.
"We are far from out of the playoff chase. We've got plenty to play for and we need to make sure that we come back with a great attitude on Friday and get the result we need.
"We cannot get too down because we have to have a good performance. A great attitude and mentality on Friday and the ball is back in our court."
Anything but victory for Yeovil will seal their relegation from the Championship, which is all but certain given they must win both of their remaining games and achieve a 13-goal swing over Birmingham, while also hoping Lee Clark's side lose their next three matches.
