Eddie Howe admits a top-half finish for Bournemouth would mean everything after climbing to 10th with victory over Burnley.
Josh King scored a late winner to secure Bournemouth a dramatic 2-1 win just two minutes after Sam Vokes had seemingly dashed hopes with an 83rd minute equaliser for Burnley.
Junior Stanislas had put Bournemouth ahead in what Howe described as a "dominant" performance from his players in their final home game of the season.
Having already guaranteed their highest-ever top-flight finish, the Bournemouth boss now wants to put the cherry on top of the cake in their final game of the campaign.
Asked what a top-half place would do for Bournemouth, Howe told Sky Sports: "It would mean everything, of course we've got one game to try and finish off and to get more points from.
"It will be a tough game away at champions Leicester. We're in the hands of the teams around us to a certain extent but we'll try and finish it off next week."
Bournemouth were barely threatened by Burnley before Vokes' late goal stunned the supporters, steering the game towards more dropped points at home following last week's 2-2 draw with Stoke.
However, Howe was delighted his players were able to offer an immediate response and believes it bodes well for their chances next season.
"I thought we were totally dominant," Howe added. "The only surprise came in the second half when they scored.
"We didn't put the game to bed earlier, for all our chances we weren't clinical enough. Thankfully we managed to go again after they equalised.
"It's been a good run to the end of the season, the character of the players has been superb. Hopefully we can take that momentum into next year."
