The 22-year-old was forced at half time with the problem and it is feared that he may have dislocated his shoulder.
Cherries boss Sean O'Driscoll is hopeful that the injury is not too serious.
"I think Karl Broadhurst may have dislocated his shoulder," O'Driscoll told the club's official website.
"It popped out and back in again so he's a bit more of a worry. We'll just have to wait twenty-four hours and see how bad it is."
"I'm glad I've got people to come in and I'm pleased that we've got Lewis Buxton for another month.
"We've also got one or two midfield players on cover so it's not as bad as it could be at the moment."
