Club skipper Carl Fletcher has already pledged his immediate future to The Cherries and now Tindall will put pen-to-paper on a contract that will run until June 2005.
The defender missed much of last season with a series of niggling injuries and is now looking forward to helping Bournemouth push for back-to-back promotions.
"Last season was the most down point in my career," the player explained to the Daily Echo.
"To pick up injuries at such important times of the season and then to not be part of the play-offs was really hard."
The 25-year-old sees no reason why Sean O'Driscoll (pictured) cannot lead his men back to Cardiff next season.
"I think we're more than capable of pushing for the play-offs again.
"But because I missed out last time I hope the opportunity arises again."
Sadly, Tindall will have to wait a little longer to return to playing action as he is currently recovering from surgery to cure a long-standing ankle problem.
The former Charlton man was always happy though to remain at Dean Court.
"After such a good year, and seeing the likes of Carl (Fletcher), Gareth O'Connor and Shaun Maher all re-signing, there's never been any real doubt I was going to sign."
