Young has concurred on terms for a fresh 12-month deal at Dean Court with the option of a further year.
The 29-year-old joined The Cherries in October 1994 from Tottenham and was a key figure in the side which clinched promotion to the Second Division.
Meanwhile, Northern Ireland striker Feeney is still contemplating the offer of a contract extension from The Cherries.
The club's chairman Peter Phillips remains optimistic of a positive resolution to the saga and insists Feeney is not being greedy in his demands.
"We want to emphasise that the difference between us has little to do with money," Phillips told the club's official website.
"Warren is not a greedy player and we still hope he'll sign by the start of July. He is still keen to stay and we are keen to keep him."
