Bournemouth midfielder will not feature this season
Bournemouth midfielder Mark Molesley requires further surgery in a bid to cure his troublesome foot injury.
The 28-year-old was hoping to make a return in the final weeks of the season as the Cherries aim to secure promotion from League Two.
But he has broken down during light training and will now undergo a second operation, having first gone under the knife back in January.
Molesley has been out of action since late October, with his last game coming in the 3-1 win over Grimsby.
Fletcher
Meanwhile, the Cherries have announced the North Stand at Dean Court will be renamed in honour of Steve Fletcher.
The Steve Fletcher Stand will be officially unveiled at Saturday's home game against Bradford and will celebrate the striker's outstanding service to the club both on and off the pitch.
Fletcher, 37, has made more than 600 record-breaking appearances for Bournemouth, scoring 116 goals, in two spells between 1992-2007 and January 2009 to the present day.
Chairman Eddie Mitchell told the club's
official website: "We are privileged to be able to name the stand after Steve Fletcher.
"The renaming of the North Stand is a great way to honour Steve's service to the club and he is a much loved player among the supporters and wider community."
