Darryl Flahavan has confirmed he is set to sign a new Bournemouth contract within the next two weeks.

The 34-year-old goalkeeper missed most of the Cherries' historic promotion-winning season with a shoulder injury but is relishing the chance to feature in the second tier once more. Flahavan told the Daily Echo: "There are just a few things that need ironing out but everything seems to be fine and, hopefully, we can get the contract sorted and signed. "I don't see any real problems and everything should be resolved in the next week or so. "I have had a few (clubs) sniffing around but nothing concrete. At the minute, I am focused on what I am being offered at Bournemouth. "With the quality we have got and the experience the gaffer has at that level, I think we can have a successful campaign."
