Alessandro Cannataro has joined Premier League new boys Bournemouth on a one-year deal, according to Sky sources.
The former Inter Milan midfielder was out of contract having left the San Siro in the summer and will join the Cherries ahead of this week's Premier League clash at home to Sunderland.
The 20-year-old had a trial with Leicester City during the summer while Crystal Palace and Watford were also rumoured to be showing an interest in him but it's the Cherries who look to have sealed a deal.
Eddie Howe's side are currently 16th in the table with one victory from their opening five matches having suffered a 3-1 defeat at Norwich last Saturday.
