Cheltenham Town manager Mark Yates is aiming to make a new signing before the weekend's League Two fixture with Hereford United.
Reports have suggested the former Kidderminster boss could be set to utilise his Harriers links to bring left-back Daniel Andrew to Whaddon Road.
The Peterborough youngster had been on loan at the Blue Square Premier club but was this week recalled earlier than expected by Posh, with speculation rife it is in order to link up on loan with his old manager at Cheltenham.
Norwich City striker Jamie Cureton is also a target for Yates, who has already extended the loan of Bristol Rovers midfielder David Pipe.
Speaking about his January activity, Yates told the Gloucestershire Echo: "I am trying to get one sorted this week to give us a boost.
"I will be speaking to the chairman (Paul Baker) to see what we can do before the weekend."
