Bantams appeal Brown red

Bradford have appealed against the red card handed out to Joe Brown on Saturday.

Bradford have appealed against the red card handed out to Joe Brown in Saturday's 4-1 loss to Blackpool.

The 18-year-old was dismissed in injury time following an off-the-ball incident with Seasiders skipper Michael Jackson.

The Bantams have said that Jackson will support their bid to have the red card rescinded.

City boss Colin Todd will be hoping the appeal is successful, especially as a suspension could leave him short of options up front.

Fellow forward Eddie Johnson missed the defeat to Blackpool with a bruised instep, while on-loan front man David Graham also had to sit out after hurting his back during the warm-up.
