Paul Evans could be set for a return to Valley Parade after joining Bradford for pre-season training.
The midfielder, currently on the books of Swindon, played 39 games for the Bantams between August 2002 and March 2004 and could be making a comeback.
The Wales international, who has also had loan spells at Blackpool and Rotherham in the past, has struggled to hold down a first-team place while with Swindon.
Evans, 32, joined the club for free in 2006 but he has suffered with an ankle injury and has only managed 17 appearances.
