Bradford manager Stuart McCall is casting his eye over former Barnsley shot-stopper Nick Colgan as he searches for a new No.1 between the posts.
McCall wants to add a new first-choice keeper and striker to the signings he has already made this summer as he revamps his squad for a promotion push.
On the goal-keeping front, Colgan is due to appear for Bradford in their friendly with Farsley Celtic.
Another possible option is Rhys Evans, who was briefly on loan at Valley Parade last term and could return following his release from Millwall.
Speaking of Colgan, McCall said: "We've had him for a week, but sometimes in pre-season that's not long enough. You're not doing a lot of shooting or crosses and I want to see him in a game."
He added: "We're enquiring about other players. There are options out there and the loan route as well.
"With Omar (Daley) back now, we've got four strikers in training. We will be bringing in another one nearer the time, so I'm not unduly concerned."
