Bradford duo Peter Thorne and Omar Daley have had to put their respective comeback matches on hold after a reserve game was called off.
Winger Daley and striker Thorne, both sidelined by long-term injury, were scheduled to return to action for the reserves against Rotherham next week, but the fixture has been postponed.
The Bantams' second-round Youth Cup clash with Crewe was washed out on Tuesday night and must be replayed next Wednesday.
And with Stuart McCall's senior side facing a league clash at Grimsby on Tuesday, the second string game has had to make way.
It is a blow to both players, who are desperate to play in order to build match fitness following long periods of inactivity.
Jamaica international Daley has not played since having surgery to repair cruciate and medial knee ligament damage sustained in February.
Thorne has been restricted to only five first-team appearances this season due to a hamstring injury.
