Ramsden set for spell out

Defender Simon Ramsden could be out injured for up to six weeks, according to Bradford manager Phil Parkinson.

Ramsden broke his toe in the 3-1 win over Shrewsbury in League Two on New Year's Eve and, despite wanting to play through the pain against Rotherham just two days later, has been told to spend a spell on the sidelines. "He's had a bit of bad luck with his toe," Parkinson told the club website. "And typical of Simon, he wanted to get it injected and play but the doctors advised against it. "It's a shame for Simon. At the moment it is looking like he could be out for around three to six weeks. "But someone with the spirit and determination like Simon has, we hope it will be nearer the three week mark."
