Clean sheet thrills Brown

Terry Brown was delighted to see his AFC Wimbledon side record their first clean sheet since October as they held Cheltenham to a 0-0 draw.

A dismal first half produced few chances before Dons substitute Billy Knott threatened to snatch the points when he went close with a curling 20-yard effort, before Town duo Jimmy Spencer and Kaid Mohamed both went close late on. Brown said: "I'm very pleased, particularly as a manager who has not kept a clean sheet since October. "We have been a bit of a soft touch but we certainly weren't that here. We were resolute and well organised and looked fairly dangerous on the break. "We could have snatched a win but I thought the draw was just about fair. We did well in the first half but they came at us in the second half with all guns blazing and we had to defend with great difficulty for 15 or 20 minutes. "You cannot be easy to beat in this league but that's what we have been at times. We have conceded two, three and four goals so that clean sheet was really important for us."
