Swindon eye nine in a row, while there is a six-pointer at the bottom

League Two leaders Swindon Town will be looking to maintain their winning run, while there is an important game at the bottom of the table. Swindon racked up an eighth successive win in the league in midweek and Paolo Di Canio will expect his team to make it nine given their impressive home record ahead of Accrington Stanley's visit to the County Ground. Second-placed Cheltenham Town have picked up the same number of points home and away this season, and Mark Yates' men welcome Burton Albion to Whaddon Road. Southend United currently occupy the final automatic promotion spot and will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing midweek result when they travel to Morecambe. There is a six-pointer at the foot of the table as bottom club Dagenham & Redbridge head to Plymouth Argyle, who are outside the drop zone on goal difference. Northampton Town sit in the second relegation spot and are at home to play-off chasing Port Vale this weeknd. Another game with significance in the lower reaches of the table sees Bradford City play host to third-bottom Hereford United at Valley Parade. Torquay United are firmly in the mix for automatic promotion and are away at a Gillingham side whose play-off hopes have been fading in recent weeks. Oxford United are the holders of the last play-off position and, with a five-point cushion to eighth place, entertain a Macclesfield Town side on a run of eight successive defeats. Barnet can not yet consider themselves to be safe from the threat of relegation and have an away game at mid-table Aldershot Town to prepare for. Bristol Rovers have steadily pulled clear of trouble since Mark McGhee's appointment as manager and visit Rotherham United. Like Rotherham, Crewe Alexandra are not yet out of the play-off hunt and welcome AFC Wimbledon to Gresty Road.
